Lock Out Tag Out procedures are used in the manufacturing and construction industry to ensure that machinery and equipment that could be a potential hazard to engineers and technicians are rendered inoperable while maintenance is being performed on the equipment.

LCE have developed this course to develop a participants knowledge in the legislation, tools, responsibilities and practice of LOTO procedures.

The course does have a practical element, and participants will get familiar with the types of equipment and tools that are used in LOTO. There will also be case studies provided that emphasise the importance of proper LOTO procedures.
