Course title: Safety Representative Training  

This three-day programme is designed to outline the role and function of the Safety Representative. The course content conforms to the guidance set by the Health and Safety Authority.

Duration: 3 days

Maximum attendees: 12 

Course objective: To provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to effectively carry out their role as safety representative.

On completion of the course delegates will: 

- Be familiar with the implications of health and safety legislation on both the employer and the employee 
- Understand the role and function of the Safety Representative
- Be able to identify hazards and assess the risks associated with common workplace hazards
- Be able to contribute to the accident/incident investigation process 
- Understand the requirements of workplace safety management
