Course title: Machine Safety Training Duration: 1/2 day Maximum attendees: 12
Course objective: This course is aimed at the skilled and semi skilled person who has to understand the hazards associated with technical interventions on machinery and equipment, including machinery set up and clean down. The course is designed to enhance the participants knowledge of the risks associated with technical interventions on machinery, to be able to identify machine hazards and to be able to assess when more skilled technical intervention is required e.g. assistance from a competent electrician or fitter.

Note: LCE training courses are tailored to each organisation - this involves spending approx. time on your site reviewing existing practices, relevant procedures, becoming familiar with equipment used and as appropriate, taking photographs that are then used for the training – this makes the training more effective and interesting for participants.
